A tourism and investment promotion event for Jinzhong city, Shanxi province was held in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, on Oct 16, with 17 projects worth over 38 billion yuan ($5.49 billion) signed on the spot.
The 17 projects involve equipment manufacturing, new materials, culture and tourism, energy saving and environmental protection sectors.
Also, Jinzhong tourism development commission reached partnerships with tourism bureaus of Shenzhen, Dongguan, Huizhou, Shanwei and Heyuan cities for furthering collaboration in tourism development.
The promotion event which will last until Oct 22 includes an exhibition featuring Jinzhong’s achievements during the past four decades, a development summit for Jinzhong which invites businesspeople and leaders from various industries in the Pearl River Delta region to advise on the Jinzhong’s development, and promotion events for local counties and regions in Jinzhong.
