Shanxi province attracted nine projects with investment worth 25.64 billion yuan ($3.73 billion), at an investment promotion meeting held in Nanjing, East China's Jiangsu province on Sept 29.
The meeting aimed to strengthen long-term partnerships between Shanxi and the Yangtze River Delta region in industries such as advanced equipment manufacturing, IT, pharmaceuticals and medical equipment.
More than 280 people, including representatives from equipment manufacturers, IT and biomedicine companies in Shanxi, as well as high-profile entrepreneurs and university scholars based in the Yangtze River Delta region, attended the meeting.
Investment promotion departments of Shanxi provincial government and businesspeople from the province visited industrial parks and pharmaceutical companies in Nanjing, learning advanced management skills and operation and production processes.
