A symposium was held between the officials of Shanxi provincial government and directors of State-owned enterprises administrated by the central government on Sept 15.
Shanxi has been transforming its industrial structure by cutting overcapacity and conducting clean and efficient utilization in the coal industry as well as establishing a modern industrial system featuring manufacturing sector.
Wang Yixin, vice-governor of Shanxi province, hoped that more SOEs administrated by the central government would come to Shanxi and help promote new industries in Shanxi by means of financial equity collaboration and trusteeship for local development areas.
Shanxi will optimize its business environment and offer support to these SOEs, he added.
The directors of SOEs who were present claimed that they will make full use of the advantages in technology, talents and professionals and further cooperate with Shanxi to realize mutual development.
The directors also participated in the 2018 Taiyuan Energy Low-Carbon Development Forum and China (Taiyuan) International Energy Industry Expo between Sept 16 and 18.
