China (Taiyuan) International Coal and Energy New Industry Expo is held every September in Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi province. It has been held for the last seven years.
China (Taiyuan) International Coal and Energy New Industry Expo was established with the approval of the State Council in 2007, jointly sponsored by the People's Government of Shanxi province and the Ministry of Commerce. In 2010, it was renamed "China (Taiyuan) International Energy Industry Expo", approved by the State Council.
In view of urgent demand for industrial upgrades and low-carbon development in Shanxi, Taiyuan Energy Low Carbon Development Forum was initiated on the basis of many years’ operation of China (Taiyuan) International Energy Industry Expo.
