Yuncheng city in Shanxi province will hold a medicine expo in late September, according to a government press conference held on Aug 21.
Centered around medical innovation and development, the expo which held for the first time in Shanxi, aims to establish a platform for exhibition and promoting quality medical resources, and Yuncheng’s reputation and influence in medicine, said Chen Zhuqin, deputy mayor of the city.
The expo will showcase medical developments in Yuncheng city with 60 booths to be set in an area of 5500 square meters. It will consist of an exhibition showing medical treatments, traditional Chinese medicine plants and pharmaceutical production and marketing as well as a forum on health care.
Science lectures on health care will be held each day during the expo. Also, Yuncheng will hold large academic events and signing ceremonies.
