Shanxi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine signed an agreement with Shanxi Shunfeng Express on May 29 for a medicine express delivery service.
The hospital, the first in Shanxi to conduct drug delivery service with an express company, aims to improve patients' experience in medical treatment and consultation.
After registering in the dispensary, patients may receive medications prepared and examined by experienced dispensers at home through Shunfeng Express rather than waiting for a long time in hospital.
Currently, the TCM compounds included in the delivery service are decocted by the hospital, and consist of fine prepared herbal medicines in small pieces and small packages. Inpatients' medical records can also be delivered.
