Linfen city attracted investment of around 5 billion yuan ($784.58 million) at an investment promotion event in the city's Quwo county on May 21.
More than 200 businesspeople from nine provinces and cities, including Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, and Beijing and Shanghai, attended the event.
The promotion saw the signing of 19 projects involving tourism and the modern service industry. Quwo county signed contracts worth 2.45 billion yuan at the event.
