On Dec 17, as the temperature continued to drop, the Hukou Waterfall of the Yellow River in Shanxi Grand Canyon formed a unique "ice waterfall jade pot" landscape.

From the downstream of the waterfall, a 10-mile long section of the river has been completely covered with ice floe, condensing into a "white jade". In sharp contrast to the roaring, choppy and stormy Hukou of the past, the white jade ice, glittering and translucent silver, thaws on both sides in different shapes, with the Yellow River creating an interesting, overlooking scene.

Seen from the air, the waterfall looks like a long dragon or a lion inlaid in the river. A beautiful rainbow flickers over and over again, leaving tourists lingering on Hukou.
