A farmer in Jiamakou village, Linyi county, Shanxi province, harvests rice on Nov 14. It’s the first time that Linyi county has successfully cultivated rice. The county now has a planting area reaching 46.67 hectares with a yield of 750 kilograms per mu (666.67 square meters).
