Filmmakers from China and abroad have been participating in talks and educational events at Pingyao International Film Festival which is taking place from Oct 28 to Nov 4.
Four events are being held in total, with experienced filmmakers such as directors John Woo and Jia Zhangke, and photographers Eric Gautier and French playwright Yves Nilly, to talk about productions that they have been involved with.
The festival aims to spark creativity among attendees to the events, and to increase the appeal of Pingyao International Film Festival.
