The Shanxi Brand Silk Road Tour was inaugurated in Warsaw, capital of Poland, on Sept 14, involving 49 companies from North China's Shanxi province who came to display their products.
A total of 800 products in various fields such as chemical engineering, machinery, manufacturing, information communication, environmental protection, and agriculture were exhibited at Warsaw International Expo Center.
The Shanxi Brand Silk Road Tour was sponsored by the Shanxi provincial government, Department of Commerce of Shanxi and Department of Finance of Shanxi.
"This is the second time the Shanxi Brand Silk Road Tour has come to Poland," said Wang Laiping, deputy director-general at the Department of Commerce of Shanxi.
"There has been a growing volume of trade between Poland and Shanxi province in recent years. Poland is one of our most cooperative partners in Central and Eastern Europe," he added .
Initiated in June 2015, the Shanxi Brand Silk Road Tour has visited a total of 11 countries including Hungary and Kyrgyzstan.
