To showcase its abundant cultural resources and long history, 11 cities in Shanxi province have been taking it in turns to hold culture weeks in Taiyuan, capital of Shanxi, since Aug 17.
The culture weeks, as major events of the first Shanxi Art Festival from Aug 18 to Sept 26, demonstrate regional cultural features in each city in the form of exhibitions, stage performances and pageants.

Changzhi culture week (Sept 15- Sept 19); Lyuliang culture week (Sept 17- Sept 21)
Jinzhong culture week (Sept 22- Sept 26)
