Three tourism ambassadors were appointed on July 15 during the final of the second season of The Impressive Scenery of Shanxi, a TV program focusing on tourism.
Bai Yansheng, a famous TV host and the anchorman of The Impressive Scenery of Shanxi, was appointed as the image ambassador for Shanxi tourism. Jia Zhangke, a film director, was awarded the title of cultural ambassador for the province, and Feng Bin, chairman of U-tour Group, was awarded the title of business ambassador.

"It's a great honor to be selected as the cultural ambassador of Shanxi tourism. I will try my best to tell Shanxi's stories, with its long history and beautiful natural scenery," said Jia Zhangke.
It's the first time that Shanxi Provincial Tourism Development Committee has selected tourism ambassadors to help promote the province's tourism industry.
