A farm produce fair hosted by Shanxi Association for Science and Technology opened on Jan 6 at Shanxi Exhibition center in Taiyuan, showcasing the latest technology and agricultural products to visitors.
There were five sections at the fair, including exhibitions on eco-farms and technology-driven poverty alleviation initiatives. Also, visitors were able to receive complimentary physical examinations and medical consultations at an exhibition area dedicated to healthy living.
More than 200 companies and institutions engaged in the agricultural technology sector attended the fair and displayed around 1,000 different kinds of high-quality agricultural products, making the fair the largest one organized compared with previous fairs. The event will last until Jan 16.
