More than 100 startups have set up businesses in Shanxi College Students Pioneer Park in Taiyuan since the end of November, creating positions for some 300 people.
The park opened in March provides college graduates and small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) with public services, including entrepreneurship guidance in financing, taxation and legal matters. The projects qualified for settling in the park focus on emerging industries, such as new energy, e-commerce and cultural creative industries.
A mentor team has been organized to offer free and professional consultations to these ventures within the park. To help smooth the financing of startups, the pioneer park introduced a service center which provides venture capital and a petty-credit company supporting SMEs.
As the majority of startups are graduates who lack business experience, funds, offices and workable projects, the park has tackled their employment and boosted innovation and entrepreneurship across Shanxi.
