Bringing top international percussion ensembles and soloists together, the Jianli International Percussion Festival is a showcase for some of the top musical talents. The festival has also become a place to enjoy new and emerging artists.
The festival involved various activities, including a master class, concerts, an exhibition of instruments, and a forum.
This year, the festival showcased the highest artistic standards, and aimed to connect Chinese percussion with styles from other countries.
The mission of the festival is to promote Chinese musical culture, learn from Western musical traditions and aid the development of new styles of Chinese percussion.
