Twenty-three cooks have finished their three-month training program in Shanxi.
Shanxi International Pastry School provided free classes to the students on over 40 different skills used when making wheat-based Shanxi foods.
In May of this year, Shanxi province invited a group of cooks from Zangjia county in the Tibet Autonomous Region to learn more about the Shanxi cuisine.
Shanxi is known as the home of Chinese food made of wheat instead of rice, or Jin cuisine.
It has become a must-try attraction for visitors to Shanxi and is an indispensable part of Chinese food culture.
The trainees are expected to introduce Shanxi food to their respective hometowns, and share Jin cuisine culture with the Tibetan people.
