The city of Datong, Shanxi province now has a modern agricultural site that's doing very well in nearby Tianzhen county, with backing from the Datong Coal Mine Group, Datong Evening News has reported. The project is part of the city's rural poverty alleviation and development program which has allocated 253 million yuan ($41 million) so far to establish more than 1,000 helio-greenhouses, and six intelligent glass-covered greenhouses.
