Shanxi gets an industrial shot in the arm

The county of Pingyao, Shanxi province, is pushing ahead with some large-scale industrial projects while eyeing new areas that haven't been established so far, this year, according to Jinzhong Daily newspaper.

The county has come up with a plan to complete 20 industrial projects that take the county's industrial advantages into account, with several of them now in the trial phase, including one for liquid gas, a paper factory, and a metallurgy facility. It wants to use these industrial projects to give its economic growth a boost.
