A total of 40 Shanxi enterprises will present at the Hong Kong and Macao stops of the Nationwide Exhibition Tour of Shanxi Brands to promote the quality and characteristics of Shanxi products, Shanxi’s intangible cultural heritages and selected tourism routes, according to the Shanxi Department of Commerce The province seeks to expand the international name of Shanxi brands through exhibitions in such international metropolises as Hong Kong and Macao.
The Shanxi brands tour in Hong Kong is scheduled from August 14 to 18 in the Hong Kong International Conference and Exhibition Center. This Hong Kong exhibition is themed “Brand, A Bridge to the World,” with an exhibition area of 700 square meters.
Following their stop in Hong Kong, these Shanxi brands will move on to Macao, where a three-day exhibition will be held in the Venetian Macao’s conference and exhibition center from August 22. The exhibition will cover an area of 2,100 sq m. The exhibition expects to make the brands links to connect with Portuguese-speaking countries.
In addition to the exhibitions in Hong Kong and Macao, the Nationwide Exhibition Tour of Shanxi Brands will hold a series of promotion activities in cities including Nanning in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, Fuzhou in Fujian province and Haikou in Hainan province. Media such as the Shanxi Evening Paper will follow and report their tour.
The Shanxi brands nationwide exhibition tour started on June 2013. It pulled ahead of Shanxi’s other promotion activities in terms of level, brand quantity, scale and duration. It already had stops in a batch of Chinese cities, including Beijing, Hohhot, Guangzhou and Shanghai. It received a lot of attention for Shanxi brands.
