A summer gourmet festival in Taiyuan, capital city of Shanxi province, began on June 12.
Tourists can enjoy local food, cooking culture and folk performances during the festival in the northwest part of the exhibition hall at China Taiyuan Coal Transaction Center.
The 64 food stands, half of which are for tasting local specialties, can accommodate 1,000 tourists.
Tourist tickets and vouchers will be sent out by lucky draws every night until Aug 31, the festival organizer said.
The three-month festival is a part of the Cool One-Day Trip in Taiyuan promotion launched amid World Cup fever.
