In Zuoquan county, near the city of Jinzhong, Shanxi province, there was a Li Youcai Clapper with Lyrics performing activity, on Feb 15, with many local grassroots artists taking part, and providing wonderful performances for everyone.
The clapper with accompanying lyrics is an old folk art, in Zuoquan, where performers tell a story while striking a bamboo clapper for rhythm. One of the most famous acts is "Li Youcai's lyrics accompanied by clapper", created by the now decreased writer, Zhao Shuli.
