The Cultural Relics Dep't of the city of Taiyuan, Shanxi province has been making some repairs on its relics and folk dwellings, such as Manjusri and Puguang temples, since this past July, as part of overall construction work. Taiyuan’s history goes back 2500 years, giving it a lot of significant, old buildings that are expected to get a new appearance thanks to the renovation.
