The Yanmen Pass scenic area of Shanxi province opened its 3rd Yanmen Pass International Frontier Fortress Culture and Tourism Festival, on August 19, the Shanxi Youth News reported on Tuesday, Aug 20.
Although the organizers have canceled the opening and closing ceremonies in response to a central government call, the festival still has six parts, covering local food, agricultural and sideline products, handicrafts, artistic performances, entertainments, and interactive activities
And, thanks to the success for the past two events, the organizers believe that this year's will fully represent the characteristics of the scenic area and increase brand awareness.
