Nantong provides training to charity organizations

Charity organization representatives and volunteers attend the training activity.

The Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area of Jiangsu province held a training activity on charity work on Aug 7.

It was the first time that Nantong held such an activity. It was attended by 37 charity organization representatives and over 100 volunteers from the area. A lecture concerning charity regulations, organization mechanisms, and regulatory fundraising and operations was welcomed by the participants.

Jiangsu Alphay Biological Technology Co donated 200,000 yuan ($32,500) to the quake-hit area in Northeast China’s Yunnan province at the activity. Luolai Home Textile Co also donated 8,000 quilts worth 1.2 million yuan to the area.
