Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) held a 2013 spring recruiting event on Feb 18. About 8,000 job seekers attended the event. About 1,270 applicants were given jobs on the spot.
Over 130 enterprises – including Tsinghua Tongfang, Ctrip and Lovo – attended the recruiting event. Many job seekers assembled in front of the electronic, engineering and service work stalls. The job seekers were hopeful about NETDA’s development prospects.
The NETDA Free Trade Zone got the original go-ahead, on Jan 3, 2013, from the State Council, for a 5.29-sq-km area, in two parts.
