The museum is located at the east of Nantong's Sports Park. The overall floorage is 12,000 square meters, with a total investment is 45 million yuan.
The museum includes a main exhibition hall, the public gym, and a swimming pool. The exhibition area can be divided into four areas - sports history in modern China, China and the Olympic, Nantong and Olympic, and the bid for hosting the Olympic Games.
The NETDA Free Trade Zone got the original go-ahead, on Jan 3, 2013, from the State Council, for a 5.29-sq-km area, in two parts.
