50 ambassadors to share Earth Day stories As the 43rd Earth Day approaches, ambassadors from 50 countries to China are going to share their environment stories on Beijing Radio's special program Connecting the Earth, Beijing Daily reported Wednesday. Beijing Radio's special focuses on topics such as cherishing the earth, protecting the homeland and treasuring resources. Beijing to switch from coal to gas to go green Beijing is to take action to make its coal-fired power plants and heating facilities go green amid public concern over the city's poor air quality, said a government official.
