The International Healthy Life Style Exhibition will be held in Hangzhou, capital city of East Zhejiang province from Nov 17 to Nov 20.

The event held jointly by the Chinese Ministry of Health, the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association (CPMA), and the Hangzhou municipal government, is scheduled to organize free lectures on health promotion and disease prevention for the audience and aims to help raise public health awareness in general.

"Facing rising public health challenges like obesity, chronic diseases, the country needs to empower its people with know-hows to stay healthy and thereafter lower the burden of medical bills," said Cai Jiming, deputy director of CPMA.
