The 6th China International Cartoon and Animation Festival will open in Hangzhou on Wednesday at 8pm.

The opening ceremony will be held in a football stadium inside Huanglong Sports Center, where a stage has been set up to look like one of Hangzhou's famed scenic spot - the Broken Bridge at the end of the Baidi Causeway.

This festival is co-organized by the China Central Television station.
