Calligraphy exhibition to celebrate China

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the Academic Invitation Exhibition on Chinese Calligraphy is on display through Jan 20 at the Zhejiang Art Museum.

Calligraphy exhibition to celebrate China

The exhibit, which opened Jan 12, will demonstrate 279 works of 93 calligraphers, including Huang Binhong, Sha Menghai and Qi Gong. The artists represent three different generations of calligraphers of the last six decades. A variety of calligraphy techniques will be on display.
