Pigs bring traffic to screeching halt on highway

2009-December-30 08:48:34

It took police nearly five hours to catch more than 100 pigs that had blocked traffic on an expressway in Zhejiang province last Tuesday.

The truck transporting the pigs overturned on the highway near Hangzhou.

The pigs ran in all directions in a bid to escape, bringing traffic to a screeching halt.

Several drivers were seen helping policemen get a hold of the pigs that were eventually reloaded onto another truck.
