The East Train Station will be closed for renovation by the Spring Festival and is scheduled to open by the end of 2011. The train lines of the station will be temporally transferred to Hangzhou Urban Train Station and Xiaoshan Train Station.

For the present, Xiaoshan Train Station's expansion work has basically been completed and will be totally completed by December 20. By then, part of the train lines of the East Train Station will be transferred to Xiaoshan Station. By the completion of relative renovation works of the Urban Train Station, the Urban Train Station will also operate part of the train lines of the East Train Station. All the transferring work will be finished by the Spring Festival Passenger Peak.
