Hangzhou is set to be hit with a consumption boom as the 2009 Hangzhou Leisure Shopping Festival kicked off last Saturday.

An opening ceremony was launched to celebrate the 2009 Hangzhou Leisure Shopping Festival. Thousands of audience attended the ceremony. Cai Qi, mayor of Hangzhou, delivered a speech.
