The 7th Hangzhou International Conference on Educational Innovations opened on November 15 in Zhejiang People's Hall in Hangzhou, capital city of Zhejiang province.

“Wenhui Prize for UNESCO Educational Innovations”, initiated by UNESCO Asia and Pacific Regional Bureau for Education and Chinese National Commission for UNESCO, was established to praise the individuals or organizations in promoting educational innovations and international communications.

During the conference, the resource center of APEID www.apclc.com, into wich Xiacheng District People’s Government invested 1 million yuan, was also opened to the public.

The Hangzhou International Conference on Educational Innovations is co-sponsored by UNESCO Asia and Pacific Regional Bureau for Education, Chinese National Commission for UNESCO, China National Institute for Educaional Research, Zhejiang Provincial Education Department, Hangzhou Municipal People’s Government and World Bank.
