The Henderson County Chamber of Commerce and the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce. from the American state of North Carolina are planning a trip to Zhejiang’s Hangzhou for a visit to the Economic Development Zone.

They will also visit Beijing, Suzhou and Shanghai during the trip, which will run from April 6 to April 14, 2010.

Tiffany Ervin, owner of Morning Glory Productions and Elite Repeats Boutique, went on a trip to China with the Catawba County Chamber in November 2008.

"I saw this trip as the chance of a lifetime. I know that sounds cliche, but walking along the Great Wall, visiting ancient palaces and tasting homegrown green tea were all experiences I never would have had without this Chamber-sponsored trip," she said. "I had the opportunity to learn more about the Chinese culture and economy and food while exploring ways to increase and improve my business here at home," she said.

American merchants are increasingly attracted to the world's most populous nation. With its fast-growing economy, chamber of commerce trips to China are becoming more and more popular.
