The first international service clinic in Zhejiang province, Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital in Hangzhou is often described as one of the best hospitals in both east China and Zhejiang.

Affiliated with the medical school of Zhejiang University, the hospital is the first public hospital accredited by JCI (Joint Commission International) in China. The international service clinic is located in the northern part of the fifth floor of Building 3. It provides international-standard medical service to foreign visitors and expatriates in and around Zhejiang.

The international service clinic provides general practice and specialist medical care. US-registered dentist Amy Joy Bergman recently began working at the clinic, providing services such as teeth cleaning and whitening, tooth and gum disease treatment and education about general oral health.

The hospital has contracts with 14 international insurance, medical assistance and insurance management companies, which facilitates treatment of a large number of people who purchase health insurance outside China.
