2009-October-22 14:23:57

Alibaba.com received 81 percent more searches for toys on its international Internet trading site in the first six months than a year earlier, the South China Morning Post reported, citing an unidentified company spokesman.

The Hangzhou-based company that runs the world’s largest business-to-business e-commerce service received more than 110,000 global toy searches in the first half of the year, the spokesman said, according to the Morning Post. Searches have increased since June as retailers stock up for the holiday season the newspaper today quoted the spokesman as saying.
