The show began with rows of motor vehicles, flags, brass instruments and flowers striking a pose on the 2140-meter-long Zhijiang road in Qiantang New City.

Folk artists sang and danced with distinct local characteristics, including gong and drum music from the Zhoushan islands, the lion dance of Qu county, Zhejiang Drama and acrobatics. The highlight was Yuhang Gundeng, which once featured at the 2008 Olympic Opening ceremony.
