A secret admirer sent tens of thousands of roses to the women's dormitory of the Zhejiang University of Media and Communications in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, in the evening of last Thursday.

It was still unknown until the next day who sent the flowers or to whom and the cards inside each of the bouquests were also blank.

Later, the receiver named Lin Mei, who majors acting, showed up and asked the Youth League Commission for help to sell the roses.

About 2000 yuan, earned from the sales, were donated to the typhoon victims in Chinese Taipei.

The roses were conveyed by a mini truck and carried by several men. Hundreds of students surrounded the roses and took photos. Some female students were even moved to tears.
