A festival honoring a local historical figure will be held in Lin’an’s Baishui Valley from September 18 to November 28.

The Xi family moved to Quankeng village in Baishui Valley district from Zheyjiang in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). 95 percent of the village population now have the family name Xi.

The Baishui Valley Xi Family Cultural Tourism Festival will include six thematic activities to cater for people with different interests.
