The 2009 China Top 500 Company Release Conference will be held in Hangzhou from September 5 to 7. It is estimated that more than 1,000 people, including over 500 representatives from nominated companies in China and senior leaders of multinational companies, government officials, renowned experts, scholars, and representatives of major media, will participate in the conference.

The theme of this year’s conference is “In the Face of Crisis: Change and Outlook”. Since the economic crisis started in 2007, it is critical for enterprises in China to have a platform to discuss difficulties they’re facing and also have a think tank to come up with countermeasures, according to conference organizers. A summit of top companies in China will be held during the conference, with discussions focused on restructuring and upgrading, green economy, oversea acquisition and e-commerce. The conference will also be a great opportunity for Hangzhou to fully showcase its achievements in building itself into a “City of Quality Life”, organizers said.
