Other festivities include a 10km Marathon Swimming World Cup, a Bicycle Tour of Thousand Island Contest, a Culture Parade and Folk Art Week.

The negotiation about how to promote a fireworks show “Night of Thousand Island” at the 2010 World Expo Night of City program is ongoing.
