Different from previous firework performances at the West Lake Expo, amateur firework artists will have a chance to light fireworks along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal for the first time on October 24th.

This year, the firework performance moves back to West Lake, echoing with flames over the Grand Canal.

Due to the length of the Canal, spectators can enjoy the bright view all the way from Gongchen Bridge to Sanbao.

Fireworks will be purchased by the municipal government.
