A new 2009 appraisal program has been launched in Hangzhou to select growth business brands which best embody quality life in Hangzhou, recently named “City of Quality Life”. The program, initiated by the Hangzhou City Brand Promotion Committee and Youth Times, has been organized by the Hangzhou City Brand Office, Hangzhou Youth Association and the Public Management College of Zhejiang University.
To meet appraisal standards, enterprises should be able to showcase several factors, including whether their product or service is related to daily life, is in sound quality and has cultural intentions. Businesses must prove they are socially responsible, innovative, competitive and marketable. Votes will also be considered for growth business brands that care for their employees, are professional and honest and play a leading role in their industry.
Sixty enterprises and 60 young leaders will be listed by the end of August to qualify for the preliminary contest. Ten winners from each group will be finally awarded later.
