Liu Tianwen is the founder, chairman and CEO of iSoftStone Holdings Ltd.

Founded in 2001, the company has become a leading provider of IT services in China. It has been a winner of the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 in China for four consecutive years starting in 2006. It was also honored by the Ministry of Commerce as one of the best 10 service outsourcing companies in 2009.

With more than 20 years of technical and management experience in the IT industry, Liu has worked with countless multinational corporations such as Bechtel and Siemens.

Prior to iSoftStone, Liu co-founded AsiaEC.com in 1999 and developed it into China's largest office supply and e-commerce service provider.

Liu has committed himself to the development of China's IT industry and the globalization of Chinese enterprises. He is the deputy director of the expert committee of China Outsourcing magazine.

In 2009, Liu won the awards, "People of the Year with Remarkable Contributions to Outsourcing in China", and, "Excellent Entrepreneur of Zhongguancun Science Park", which is known as China's Silicon Valley and a technology hub in Beijing.

Liu is a Sloan Fellow and holds an MBA degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as well as a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts.
