Editor's Note: Northeast China is a great place to escape from the summer heat. Changchun, capital of Jilin province, initiated the China Changchun Summer Relaxation Festival in 2007 to introduce this summer resort to more people and to boost other industries via prosperous of tourism.

The festival opened at Changchun World Sculpture Park on June 21 this year, with the intention of showing the beautiful and vigorous Changchun to the world, through which to promote the city and realize the "heat-escape plus traveling" strategy to improve its tourism industry.
