As an integral part of the 2013 Croisement festival, French film week kicked off on April 16 in Beijing. French Film League president Jean-Paul Salomé, along with two actors from the film “Camille Redouble,” Samir Guesmi and Julia Faure, and Marion Laine, the diector of “A Coeur Ouvert,” attended the opening ceremony for the cinema celebration.
French film week was organized by the Beijing Student Film Festival committee, French embassy and the French Film League. Tuesday’s opening ceremony was held at Beijing Normal University’s Beiguo Theater.
The renowned French films “Camille Redouble” and “A Coeur Ouvert” will be showcased over the next four days. Other than film screenings, seminars on French cinema and public discussions with the actors from the two films will also be available to the public.
