Wu Zhenhuan, a Chinese contemporary artist, believes that a piece of brilliant work doesn't make a good painter. In his opinion, a good painter opens a door for his audiences, through which people's mindset can reach a higher level. He endeavors to open such a door to express the Chinese spirit by using paintings as a universal language. Born in 1968 in Leizhou, Guangdong province, he is now the executive curator of the Museum of Contemporary Art Beijing.
