Five paintings and one bronze sculpture were added to Renaissance in Florence: Masterpieces and Protagonists, replacing eight masterpieces, which had been on show since the exhibition opened in July at the National Museum of China.

The new pieces include The Battle of Anghiari Ante, which an unknown artist painted in 1563 inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's paintings, and Domenico Ghirlandaio's Virgin and Child with Saints Catherine of Alexandria, Stephen, Lawrence and Dorothy.
The exhibition gathers 67 artworks from more than 20 Italian museums and art galleries. It will run until April 2013.
